We are currently investing in insurance talent and expanding our Financial Lines team in the Nordics. Are you our new Financial Lines Underwriter?

In the Stockholm office you will be welcomed by a team of 7 Financial Lines underwriters and 3 students, and you will work closely together with our entire Nordic Financial Lines team across our Nordic cluster. The position is based in our new office located in the center of Stockholm.

A role filled with analytics, negotiations and service

As an AIG Financial Lines underwriter, you will play key role in our company. Primary focus is individual underwriting within the traditional Financial Lines insurance products such as Director’s and Officer’s Liability, Crime, Employment Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance within the large corporate segment. You will make risk assessments of Nordic companies, negotiate with both insurance brokers and clients and secure the highest customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the team to contribute to the profitable growth of our joint Financial Lines portfolio in EMEA and support our business development functions and our business strategies. You will also participate in marketing facing initiatives, external events, workshops, and internal projects & trainings.

  • Have some work experience as a Financial Lines- or Liability Underwriter and/or as a Financial Lines Claims Handler (not a requirement, but preferred)
  • Are a team player, structured, service oriented and pays attention to detail
  • Have strong verbal and written Swedish and English skills
  • Have great communicative skills and excel at negotiating and presenting
  • Have a degree in economics or law or a combination of the two
  • Have a clear understanding of financial statements
